A florae is owned and operated by Rachel Hunter. It is a boutique flower shop specializing in the mindful art of arranging flowers as nature intended them to be. With grace and freedom to show off their natural shape and color.
A florae is a reflection of hard work and dedication to a craft that beautifies events and homes with florals, but it's much more than that. A florae was built on the foundation of choosing to believe in one's self against all odds, while never losing sight of the journey's purpose - to serve human connection, to honor all love stories and to never stop evolving. It's more than a passion, A florae is a creative way of life and flowers are the muse.

ABOUT US
What happens when you combine 20 years of event experience in the floral industry, meeting the love of your life, and finding support like never before? You get Bestow—a venue built on love, trust, and dedication.
After Rachel and Diego discovered they were expecting, Diego began assisting with Rachel’s event floral business. He quickly embraced its dynamic energy and the variety of services offered. Diego soon became an integral part of the team, managing event breakdowns and playing a key role in day-of setups for A florae. With over 10 years of experience in launching restaurants and bars, followed by 15 years in operations management for senior living, Diego brings a wealth of expertise. His skills in running efficient systems, catering to client needs, and introducing fresh, innovative ideas make him an invaluable partner. He also transformed Bestow into a bilingual company, with a keen eye for elevated design, balancing Rachel’s creative vision.
Rachel, the founder of A florae, launched her floral design business in 2010 while bartending. She thrived in the restaurant industry as a crafted-cocktail bartender, while running a flourishing floral business, but as of 2016, dedicated all of her time to the floral business. Her journey started in California, working for three remarkable Bay Area florists. Now, after nearly 20 years in the floral world, she felt ready to pursue a lifelong dream with Diego by her side—to create an event venue that’s not only flexible in design but also mindful of budgets and vendor needs. Having worked closely with vendors in Colorado’s wedding industry, this mission holds deep meaning for her.
“I wanted to create a space that honors design while remaining adaptable and affordable. Whether the event is large or small, every celebration is special—and it doesn’t have to break the bank to feel that way. It's equally important to prioritize the needs of your vendors, because happy vendors lead to happy clients. Bestow is a labor of love, and we can't wait to welcome you into our beautiful venue." - Rachel
My name is Rachel Hunter, and I’m the visionary behind this beautiful venture I’ve built alongside my husband and business partner, Diego Barrantes.
Since 2010, I’ve owned and operated A florae flowers. Flowers have been a powerful source of inspiration and purpose for me. They guided me through a difficult chapter of my life, helping me rebuild after heartbreak and shaping the foundation of my "why." At my core, I’m driven to serve and provide, and I do so with passion and dedication.
One of the greatest joys that has blossomed from my floral work is discovering my love for designing spaces. I could spend countless hours reconfiguring the retail shop floor, completely immersed in the creative process—it never felt like work.
It brings me immense pride to see a space come to life, uniquely tailored to our clients' vision. It would be an honor to welcome you to Bestow and make it yours for the day. If there’s one thing I want you to know, it’s this: I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to do what I love and to be a part of such meaningful moments in people’s lives. I’m here to support you in any way I can.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Some might think I was roped into this venture, but honestly? I absolutely love it. I love the hustle, the newfound creative outlet it has brought into my life, and the joy of opening our beautiful space for so many wonderful people to enjoy. It’s been an incredible honor to witness weddings and other special events that mark such meaningful moments in people’s lives. This experience keeps me humble and deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve.
I’m especially proud to offer my services to the Hispanic community, helping to bridge any communication gaps. Colorado has a large Hispanic population, and we honor their culture and language with the same care and respect as any other.
